THE GREAT SEAL OF MĀMALAHOA

The predominate colors of Māmalahoa are Red, Yellow, and Black.
However, Black is featured on the Seal for aesthetic purposes.
1865 represents the year the Order was established by Kamehameha V.
1907 represents the year Māmalahoa was established by Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalaniana‘ole.
The Ihe (spear) represents  strength, speed, and exactness.
The Hoe (paddle) represents mobility, agility, and moving forward.
The Pūloʻuloʻu, with an ihe as a shaft, represents kapu (sacredness) and mana (physical and spiritual power and authority).
