Retired Pelekikena of Māmalahoa

Leilani Lindsey-Kaʻapuni
2011 – 2015

Leilani Lindsey-Kaʻapuni was initiated into Nā Wāhine o Kamehameha in April 2011 and was appointed as Pelekikena by Aliʻi ʻAimoku Pua Ishibashi and tasked with re-activating the women’s organization of Moku o Māmalahoa of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I. She served as Pelekikena of the women of Māmalahoa from 2011-2016 and as Pelekikena Nui of the State Executive Council in 2012. Leilani served as Pelekikena Mua Iho following her term as Pelekikena Nui and has also served as Kākauʻōlelo and Kahuna Pule for the State and Māmalahoa chapters.

“I have strived to fulfill the kuleana placed upon me to lead Nā Wāhine o Kamehameha in supporting the mission of the Royal Order of Kamehameha and will continue to do all that I can to serve and uplift our lāhui, protect sacred ʻāina, and honor the memory of our aliʻi.”  Leilani Lindsey-Kaʻapuni

2016 – 2019

Kelley Kealohapoinaole Kamahele-Heaukūlani Initiated into Nā Wāhine ʻO Kamehameha on August 2012. Served in several positions over the years including Kākauʻōlelo from 2013-2016; Pelekikena 2016-2019; Pelekikena Nui 2018; State and Chapter Pelekikena Mua Iho 2019.

2019 – 2022

Ola Jenkins was honored to serve as Pelekikena of Nā Wāhine o Kamehameha, Māmalahoa and enjoyed working with both our women and men of the Order as well as the community.  It was a very exciting and fulfilling four years.
